I purchased this property in 2023 and completed many upgrades this year. My goal is to have a remote place in Alaska that offers amazing fishing, hiking, and hunting and a place to go and unwind. Bringing boxes of fresh fish and shrimp home are certainly a primary benefit but spending time with friends and family here is the true benefit. I live in Central Oregon where I am a rancher and a builder. I was a commercial fisherman in the early 90’s working out of Kodiak, Dutch harbor, and the Cook inlet. I also spent 10 years renting boats with buddies out of Juneau to go fishing and exploring. I have been all over Alaska hunting and fishing and truly believe that Prince of Wales offers everything Alaska has to offer in one location. It took years of searching before I found this property, I believe it offers the perfect setup.

I want to provide guests with the ultimate Alaska on your own experience that I was looking for. Nice homes, great location, private dock with good boats to allow folks to enjoy their time doing whatever makes them happy. We will not nickel and dime you with “add ons”; we offer 2 basic packages that include everything you need for a fun and memorable trip. I spend around 4 weeks at the main lodge in the summer. I am fortunate enough to have amazing neighbors that will be helping with all the logistics for the guests.

The lodge is available May 1 through October 15th. The upper lodge is a bit older, offers a full kitchen, dining and living room with full-service laundry room. This house has 4 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms. Wi-Fi is available as well with Wi-Fi cell phone service.

The lower, waterfront lodge is only 2 years old, has a spacious 5 bedrooms, 3 with full bathrooms. Traeger grill and full laundry room as well. The house has all the amenities you need with an amazing waterfront view. Both homes are thoroughly cleaned after each group and boats will be fueled for you as needed.

Alaska is wild and remote. We ask that you have experience operating a boat in open waters and can provide a completed USCG approved boater safety class document.
